Wend was inspired by the Continental Divide. It was in the Great Basin of Wyoming that our founder Tess Mullaney realized how simple joys like strapping a cheap pinwheel to a backpack could brighten an otherwise desolate section. Before, the wind was brutal and unforgiving, after the pinwheel, the wind become a source of laughter and fun, sparking friendship and a sense of playfulness in adventure.

That raw joy is what we're about here at Wend. We want you to bring friends outside, laugh, play, and enjoy these spaces more than you could've imagined.
